Miss Cheryl will come to you! Miss Cheryl will ensure your child’s birthday party is a memorable, musical celebration! Her musical birthday entertainment is loads of fun for the kids AND grownups, too!

What the musical birthday party includes:

🎈45 minutes of musical fun with Miss Cheryl leading the children and adults in songs, rhymes, and finger-plays through instrument play along, singing, dancing and imaginative play.

🚆  Your birthday child and guests will embark on a Musical Birthday Adventure, making many stops along the way before arriving at the Birthday Dance Party Celebration!

🎵 The Musical Birthday Adventure is the main party choice, including a variety of age appropriate songs for everyone with popular,  traditional children's songs. Miss Cheryl will include some of your child's favorite songs, too!

⭐ While Miss Cheryl sets up, she offers musical instruments and play equipment for party guests to explore!

⭐ Miss Cheryl only uses high quality age appropriate musical instruments (E.g. shakers, bells, drums).

⭐ With fun and engaging props such as felt board figures, puppets, scarves, and a parachute, Miss Cheryl brings a whole world of imagination to your celebration.

⭐ Upon request, bubbles can be added for extra outdoor fun!

⭐ If you choose, Miss Cheryl will lead the birthday child and guests in a march, train or dance to the birthday cake, and complete the musical birthday with a rousing “Happy Birthday” finale!

⭐ To top it off, the birthday child will receive a FREE musical instrument and pair of dancing scarves birthday gift! Plus, each guest will receive a dancing scarf!

Planning Your Child's Special Day

Miss Cheryl will come right to you! You decide the location: your home, a hall, a park, or whatever venue you choose. Miss Cheryl will come to the location with everything you need - guitar, props, sound system, and instruments are all included.

You provide:

✅ A cleared space for everyone to make music, dance and move around.  If your party is in a house or apartment, toys are the number one distraction factor.   It's preferable to keep the toys in a separate room or hide them when the musical birthday party is about to begin. If toys, coloring books or crayons are out in the performance space, children won’t easily part with them, making it increasingly difficult to gather everyone around to start the music. Make the most of your musical party entertainment by treating the event as an interactive concert just for your birthday child and guests!

✅ Outlet for sound system.

✅ Guests ready to participate and have a good time! A participating adult is required to accompany each child or family.

✅ Be sure to share some of your child’s favorite songs with Miss Cheryl, and she will include up to three in the celebration in a very memorable way.

⏲️ Please allow 30 minutes of gathering time for all guests to arrive so that no participant misses out on the MUSICAL BIRTHDAY (parents and children alike need this time to socialize/play, too)! Miss Cheryl will be using this time to set up in your living room, backyard or designated area.

🎶 If you request, Miss Cheryl will finish the event by leading the birthday child and guests to the birthday cake with a musical march, train or dance, and sing a rousing "Happy Birthday" immediately after the main musical entertainment is complete. Whether Miss Cheryl sings the "Happy Birthday" song or not, when the musical portion of your party is finished, Miss Cheryl will quietly collect her things and slip out your door, while your guests continue the celebration!

Musical Birthday Entertainment Pricing

For the 45-minute musical entertainment:

(Fees are for party guests 8 months to 7 years old.)

• Base rate is $250 for up to 12 children. Families currently enrolled in my music classes or returning customers, ask about a discount!  

• $5 per additional child

• For 20 or more children, please contact Cheryl for pricing.

• The birthday child will receive a FREE musical instrument gift (options below) and a pair of dancing scarves! 

• Optional Goody Bags Available at $3 a bag (each bag includes 1 Egg Shaker and 1 Colorful Dancing Scarf). 

• If you plan on including more than 12 children, please be aware that the space you provide needs to be large enough for the additional children and accompanying adults. 

• A $100 deposit is required to confirm a party date and time, which includes a non-refundable $30 booking fee. The remainder is paid to Miss Cheryl by the day before your party.

• Birthday parties canceled more than 30 days in advance will receive a full refund minus the non-refundable $30 booking fee.  Birthdays canceled up to 15 days in advance will forfeit the $100 deposit which includes the non-refundable booking fee.

• No refunds within 7 days of the party, although rescheduling is an option with no rescheduling fee.

• It is suggested that you book your party at least 4 weeks in advance to ensure that your date and time are available.

Additional Fees:

• An additional $50.oo for a custom birthday theme.
• An additional $20.00 for a second birthday child.
• Travel fee for longer distances.  Miss Cheryl lives in Sherman, CT and serves the CT and NY area.
• Parking: If paid parking is necessary, the client is responsible for Miss Cheryl's parking fees.
